Thyroid Multi Vitamin
Thyroid Multi Vitamin
The Thyroid Multi Vitamin is the best all-around thyroid multivitamin on the market. This product covers all of your vitamin-related and immune function needs, making it the perfect choice for those looking to improve their thyroid health. The Thyroid Multi Vitamin is packed with essential vitamins and minerals, including selenium, zinc, and vitamins A, C, and E. This powerful combination of nutrients helps to support healthy thyroid function and boost the immune system.
Vitamin A (Beta-Carotene) - Your health depends on vitamin A. It plays an imperative role in cell growth, immune function, fetal development, and vision. Vitamin A's role in vision and eye health is perhaps its most well-known function. Vitamin A, in the form of retina, combines with the protein opsin to form rhodopsin, which is necessary for color vision and low-light vision. Additionally, it helps keep the cornea, the outermost layer of your eye, and the conjunctiva, which covers the surface of your eye and the inside of your eyelids, healthy. Additionally, vitamin A helps maintain your skin, intestines, lungs, bladder, and inner ear tissues. (1)(2)
Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid) - Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that strengthens your body's natural defenses. Antioxidant molecules boost the immune system. As a result, they protect cells from harmful molecules called free radicals. Vitamin C may lower blood pressure in people with and without high blood pressure, according to studies. Heart disease is associated with many factors, including high blood pressure, high triglyceride or LDL (bad) cholesterol levels, and low HDL (good) cholesterol levels. These risk factors may be reduced by vitamin C, thereby reducing the risk of heart disease. (3)(4)(5)
Calcium (as Calcium Carbonate) - Many of your body's basic functions depend on calcium. Your body must have calcium to circulate blood, move muscles, and release hormones. You also need calcium to carry messages from your brain to other body parts. Calcium plays an important role in tooth and bone health as well. As a result, your bones become stronger and denser. Your bones serve as your body's calcium reservoir. Your body will take calcium from your bones if you don't consume enough calcium. (6)
Vitamin D (as Cholecalciferol) - Vitamin D belongs to a family of fat-soluble vitamins that includes vitamins D1, D2, and D3. Sunlight directly exposes your body to vitamin D. Vitamin D can also be obtained from certain foods and supplements. There are several important functions of vitamin D. The most important of these are regulating calcium and phosphorus absorption and facilitating normal immune system function. (7)
Vitamin E (as DL-Alpha Tocopherol Acetate) - Some foods naturally contain vitamin E, including seeds, nuts, some vegetables, and some fortified products. It can also be taken as a dietary supplement. Your body relies on it for many functions. As an antioxidant, it protects your cells from oxidative damage by neutralizing harmful molecules called free radicals. Furthermore, it is essential for immune function and cellular communication. (8)
Vitamin B1 (as Thiamine Mononitrate) - All tissues of the body require thiamine to function properly. Thiamine was the first B vitamin discovered by scientists. As a result, its name contains the number 1. Thiamine is a water-soluble vitamin that helps the body convert food into energy. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is made by the body with the help of thiamine. Energy is transported within cells by this molecule. (9)
Vitamin B2 (as Riboflavin) - Riboflavin, or vitamin B-2, is naturally found in some foods. In synthetic form, it can also be found in other foods. Red blood cells and other cellular functions are supported by vitamin B-2 and other B vitamins. The breakdown of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates is one of these functions. B vitamin supplements may have given you an energy boost. (10)
Vitamin B3 (as Niacin) - Over 400 biochemical reactions in your body, mostly relating to getting energy from food, involve the coenzymes nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP), which are synthesized by niacin. (11)
Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCl) - Your body needs vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine, for several functions. Protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism as well as the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters depend on it. (12)
Folate - Among the B vitamins, folate is one of them. DNA is made, repaired, and red blood cells (RBCs) are produced by it. (13)
Vitamin B12 (as Cyanocobalamin) - The body uses vitamin B12 for a variety of purposes. Your nerve cells depend on it for normal function, and red blood cells and DNA are synthesized with it. You can benefit from vitamin B12 in a variety of ways, including boosting your energy, improving your memory, and preventing heart disease. (14)
Biotin - As well as providing energy, biotin maintains the function of your body as a whole. Biotin is a vitamin that your body needs to stay healthy. Biotin promotes the health of several systems. Your liver, nervous system, hair, eyes, and more are among them. (15)
Vitamin B5 (as D-Calcium Pantothenate) – This vitamin supports an increase to hair growth inside the scalp. By providing essential nutrients, it reduces hair fall, strengthens hair roots, nourishes follicles from within, and stimulates hair growth. You need Vitamin B5 it to make blood cells and to convert food into energy. There are eight B vitamins, including vitamin B5. The B vitamins help you convert protein, carbohydrates, and fats into energy. (16)
Magnesium (as Magnesium Oxide) - The body uses magnesium to regulate more than 300 enzyme reactions, including protein synthesis, muscle function, and blood glucose levels. Glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation, and energy production all require magnesium. Magnesium is mainly responsible for converting food into energy, creating new proteins from amino acids, and repairing DNA and RNA. Additionally, magnesium regulates neurotransmitters, which send messages throughout the brain and nervous system. As a result, athletic performance and daily living are believed to be enhanced. (17)(18)
Zinc (as Zinc Oxide) - Besides its role in metabolism, digestion, and nerve function, zinc also plays an important role in the activity of more than 300 enzymes. Furthermore, it plays an important role in the development and function of immune cells. In addition, this mineral plays a crucial role in skin health, DNA synthesis, and protein synthesis. Zinc is also important for the growth and development of the body. Your immune system is strengthened by zinc. Due to its importance for immune cell function and cell signaling, a deficiency can weaken immunity. Supplements containing zinc stimulate immune cells and reduce oxidative stress. (19)(20)
Selenium (as Selenium Amino Acid Chelate) - To obtain selenium, you must consume it throughout your diet. By keeping free radical numbers in check, antioxidants like selenium reduce oxidative stress. Your thyroid gland needs selenium to function properly. The thyroid tissue contains more selenium than any other organ in the body. In addition to protecting the thyroid against oxidative damage, this mineral plays a crucial role in thyroid hormone production. Growth and development are controlled by the thyroid gland, which regulates your metabolism. (21)(22)
Copper (as Copper Gluconate) - The trace mineral copper is essential for survival. In addition to making red blood cells, it maintains nerve cells and the immune system. In addition, it helps the body form collagen and absorbs iron, as well as produce energy. The liver, brain, heart, kidneys, and skeletal muscles contain the majority of copper in the body. (23)
Manganese (as Manganese Amino Acid Chelate) - Among the trace minerals, manganese is one of the most important. Humans need only a small amount of it, but it's vital to their health. Manganese is involved in many bodily functions, including amino acid metabolism, cholesterol metabolism, glucose metabolism, and carbohydrate metabolism. Additionally, it contributes to bone formation, blood clotting, and inflammation reduction. (24)
Chromium (as Chromium Picolinate) - It has been shown that those with diabetes can improve their blood sugar levels by taking chromium supplements. Several studies have examined whether chromium is an effective weight loss supplement due to its role in nutrient metabolism and possible effects on eating behavior. To determine whether this mineral is useful for weight loss, a large analysis examined 9 studies that included 622 overweight or obese people. (25)
Molybdenum - Although you may not be familiar with molybdenum, it is an essential trace mineral to your health. You only need tiny amounts of it, but it plays an essential role in many vital functions in your body. Your body would build up deadly sulfites and toxins without it. In your body, molybdenum plays a vital role in many processes. From your stomach and gut, it is absorbed into your blood, then carried to your liver, kidneys, and other organs. The liver and kidneys store some of this mineral, but most of it is converted into a molybdenum cofactor. The excess molybdenum is then excreted in the urine. As a result, it prevents the buildup of dangerous levels of sulfites in the body by converting sulfite to sulfate. (26)
Eye and Skin Support
Lutein - The Antioxidant Lutein protects your body from free radicals, which are unstable molecules. A large number of free radicals can damage your cells, contribute to aging and lead to diseases such as heart disease, cancer, type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer's. Proteins, fats, and DNA in your body are protected by Lutein, which can even recycle glutathione. They may also reduce plaque buildup in your arteries, thus decreasing your risk of heart disease by reducing the effects of "bad" LDL cholesterol. Additionally, lutein protects your eyes from free radical damage. As a result of both oxygen and light exposure, harmful oxygen free radicals are produced in your eyes. As lutein neutralizes free radicals, your eyes are no longer damaged by them. (27)(28)
Lycopene (Lycopersicum esculentum (fruit) - Lycopene is a carotenoid antioxidant. Lycopene’s antioxidant properties can prevent several of these negative conditions. The antioxidant properties of lycopene may also reduce your risk of developing or dying from heart disease. In older adults, lycopene may prevent or delay cataracts and reduce the risk of macular degeneration, the leading cause of blindness. (29)
Stinging Nettle Extract (Urtica dioica) (root) - There are several compounds in stinging nettle that may reduce inflammation. Traditionally, stinging nettle was used to treat high blood pressure. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator that helps stimulate nitric oxide production. Vasodilators relax your blood vessel muscles, allowing them to expand. Stinging nettle lowers blood sugar levels in humans and animals. Insulin-like compounds are found in this plant. (30)(31)
Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) (fruit) - In addition to balancing hormone levels, saw palmetto also assists in combating hair loss. The anti-inflammatory properties of saw palmetto have been studied in animals. (32)
Immune Support
Echinacea Extract (Echinacea purpurea) (aerial) - Echinacea improves immunity, blood sugar, anxiety, inflammation, and skin health. Possibly, it has anticancer properties. This plant may help your immune system combat infections and viruses, which could speed up your recovery time. (33)
Beta Glucan (saccharomyces cerevisiae) - The fiber beta glucan is responsible for many of oats, wheat, and barley's health-promoting properties. Researchers have extensively studied its effects on cholesterol levels and heart health, as well as its ability to boost immunity and stabilize blood sugar levels. (34)
Spirulina (Arthrospira Platensis) (whole plant) - This is a type of cyanobacteria, single-celled microbes commonly called blue-green algae. Spirulina is an excellent source of antioxidants, which protect against oxidative damage. The main active component of spirulina is called phycocyanin, which is an antioxidant. In addition to lowering total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and triglycerides, it can also increase HDL (good) cholesterol levels. (35)
Garlic (Allium sativum) (blub) - The immune system is known to be boosted by garlic supplements. Garlic supplementation reduced the number of colds by 63% compared with a placebo in a 12-week study. Garlic reduced cold symptoms by 70%, from 5 days in the placebo group to just 1.5 days in the garlic group. Garlic supplements have been shown to significantly reduce blood pressure in people with high blood pressure in human studies. (36)(37)
Antioxidant Fruit and Energy Blend
Green Tea Extract (Camellia sinensis) (leaf) - Antioxidants are the main reason for green tea extract's health benefits. Antioxidants reduce oxidative stress in the body by fighting the damage caused by molecules called free radicals. Various diseases and aging are associated with this type of cell damage. Most of green tea extract's antioxidant content comes from polyphenol antioxidants called catechins. Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is the most studied catechin in green tea and is thought to have the most health benefits. (38)
Hawthorn Berries (Crataegus pinnatifida) - The hawthorn berry is rich in polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidant compounds. Hawthorn berry’s anti-inflammatory properties may improve your health. (39)
Cinnamon Bark Extract (Cinnamomum cassia) - Antioxidants, such as polyphenols, are abundant in cinnamon. Cinnamon supplementation was found to increase antioxidant levels and reduce inflammation markers, such as C-reactive protein, in a study. Cinnamon's antioxidant properties are so powerful that it can even be used to preserve food. (40)
Bilberry fruit Extract (Vaccinium mytillus) - The antioxidants in bilberries protect your body from damage and disease. Berries, including blueberries, are among the foods with the highest antioxidant levels. Since bilberries are closely related to blueberries, they probably have similar properties. (41)
Grape Seed Extract (Vitis Vinifera L.) - Heart disease is associated with high levels of LDL (bad) cholesterol in the blood. Atherosclerosis, or the buildup of fatty plaque in your arteries, is greatly increased by the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. In several animal studies, grape seed extract supplements reduced LDL oxidation triggered by high fat diets. (42)
Black Currant Fruit Extract (Ribes nigrum) - In addition to vitamin C, black currants contain antioxidants and anthocyanins. Your immune system can be strengthened, sore throats can be soothed, and flu symptoms can be eased. Additionally, blackcurrant leaves have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antitoxic properties. People who exercise regularly responded better to blackcurrant supplements. Additionally, they could train harder for longer periods of time. (42)
Pomegranate Fruit Extract (Punica granatum) - Pomegranates contain antioxidants and polyphenolic compounds that protect against this damage. In pomegranates, punicalagins, anthocyanins, and hydrolysable tannins are the main bioactive compounds with antioxidant activity. (43)
